Sometimes Back support wall may not be available for Green wall & one may have to give Hanging Greenery. ELT India did face one such situation in 2016, when we were asked to give solution for about 40’ high Vertical garden on a structure but keeping in mind points like wind velocity, load factor, right to air & light for the neighbours, aesthetics & budget.
The idea was to given Green screen which did not require back frame but gives continuous greenery without hampering light. That’s when we thought of giving Hanging vertical garden using set of hanging pots suspended on wire ropes. After much experimentation with modules, growth media & plants, Now ELT India has 2 types of Hanging Vertical Garden system, one with container & the second without container. They are:
